Don’t be surprised if you haven’t heard of the Usera Tunnel incident. It was part of the Spanish Civil War, which in itself is rarely covered or discussed in American education, media, or culture.
Some wars are politically useful, like WW2 and the War Against Southern Independence. Other wars are not, such as WW1, Korea, and the Spanish Civil War.
During the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) the far-left Communist psychopaths, aka the Republicans, were trying to defeat the Nationalists, led by Gen. Francisco Franco. The Nationalists were backed by the military, Catholics, and anyone with common sense.
The military rebelled because of the rampant voter fraud and political violence by the left in the election of 1936, which gave the so-called ‘popular front’, a Communist-dominated left-wing movement, a slim majority.
From that slim majority, the Communists immediately took power and started the executions.
One of the first things the newly-elected Communist legislators did, was go to open the jails and let everyone out.
The left in power wants to use that power to get more of it, they were not interested in consensus, they were interested in domination. Part of that domination was always going to involve murder, usually euphemised as ‘political violence’ or ‘revolutionary violence’ to depersonalize the killings.
Academic terms are so much better than just saying rape and murder.
The Communists were not content with just killing a few priests and raping a few nuns however.
The far-left Republicans ‘executed’ statues of Jesus, supported by Stalin.
The far-left Republicans were the ones engaged in “revolutionary exhumation” where they dug up dead nuns and displayed their bodies for mockery and derision in the streets.
I realize how crazy this sounds, so here’s a 1985 academic article talking about ‘revolutionary exhumation.’
And of course here are some more grotesque pictures of what the left does in power.
This isn’t to ignore the very living nuns who were rounded up and killed for their faith by the Communists. Here are a few names of those victims:
1. Blessed María Pilar of St. Francis Borgia (Jacoba Martínez García)
She was one of the three Discalced Carmelite nuns martyred in Guadalajara, Spain, on July 24, 1936. Along with her companions, Teresa of the Child Jesus (Eusebia García García) and María Ángeles of St. Joseph (Marciana Valtierra Tordesillas), they were shot after refusing to renounce their faith. These three nuns were beatified in 1987.
2. Blessed María Sagrario of St. Aloysius Gonzaga (Elvira Moragas Cantarero)
A Discalced Carmelite, María Sagrario was martyred on August 15, 1936. She had been a pharmacist before joining the Carmelites and became prioress of her community. She was arrested for her faith and later executed. She was beatified in 1998 by Pope John Paul II.
3. Blessed Mother Maria Asunción Pascual, O.P.
She was one of the seven Dominican nuns of the Monastery of the Annunciation who were killed in October 1936. The nuns were arrested by Republican forces, accused of harboring Nationalist sympathies, and executed near Madrid. All seven nuns were beatified in 2007.
4. Blessed Aurelia Arambarri Fuente and Companions
Aurelia and eight other Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick, were martyred in Madrid in December 1936. They were known for their charitable work, caring for the sick, and were executed for their refusal to abandon their religious vows. They were beatified in 1998.
5. Blessed María del Carmen Lacaba Andia and Her 13 Companions
Also known as the "Martyrs of Astorga," these were 14 nuns from the Franciscan Order of the Immaculate Conception who were killed in 1936. They were recognized for their service to the poor and for remaining faithful to their religious vows despite the danger.
6. Blessed María Isabel Sánchez Romero
A member of the Augustinian Recollects, she and her companions were executed on February 17, 1937. Like many others, she was targeted for her religious identity and association with the Catholic Church. Age 75, her executioners were angered by her prayers throughout her brutalization, so they decided to deny her a quick death through a bullet and instead bludgeoned her to death with a rock. She was beatified in 2022.
I don’t know, call me old fashioned, but I just think that if your side is the one executing nuns by bludgeoning them to death with rocks, maybe you’re on the wrong side.
You can still meet people who, ignorant of the realities of the Spanish Civil War, manage to find a tortured reason to support the Communist Republicans.
There are quite a few famous folks who were staunchly in favor of the Communists winning in Spain so that they could kill more nuns with rocks, here’s a short list:

Publicly Franklin Roosevelt was neutral on the Spanish Civil War. In private letters, however, he revealed that he was supportive of the Communist Republicans.
Notably almost all academic scholarship in America related to the Spanish Civil War takes the side of the psychotic leftists in this conflict.
The left will talk about all the shameful symbolic tortures done to the Communists in Spain by the political right such as: they shaved the heads of women against their will!
The Republicans, meanwhile, were stoning nuns and castrating priests.
Totally the same thing!
The left will talk about the horrible bombings in Guernica, where they originally claimed 1,654 died after being purposefully bombed by fascists.
When in reality, the number was somewhere between 126-153 bombed when a bomber went off course, over 10 times less than originally reported.
The left will cry about the Robert Capa picture, “The falling soldier” from the Civil War.
While omitting that it was all faked. There’s no soldier, there was no battlefront there at that time, and it was always just another con.
Despite documentaries and scores of evidence that this is fake, you will still find this photo republished as authentic.
The Soviets were master propagandists. I should correct that to more accurately say, they are master propagandists.
The American left are so good at propaganda that they still call their lies “history.”
Newspapers.com hosts 27,000 papers over 300+ years, with over 1 billion pages of content.
They don’t have a single result for “usera tunnel” for proper context here.
That historical control, that domination over the official record, is a critical part of the left’s stranglehold on American culture.
"Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past."
If you want to test the limits of free speech, you can curse all you want, but try speaking a direct challenge to certain historical shibboleths. The left protects its historical lies with more fervor than they protect their lies in the present.
And yea yea yea, I know what you think I’m referencing here, and it’s not that. You can pick around the bones of esoteric, obscure, historical topics and find violent resistance from the status quo, assuming they engage at all.
It’s irrational how violently the historical elites treat any deviationism from the official narratives. But pushing to the left is always permissible. Pushing the narrative to absurd left-wing limits is always OK, but challenging the record on small details otherwise is repressed and suppressed.
You can notice the same resistance to new facts about accepted narratives, but also face the same stiff resistance if you try to bring entirely new narratives to light. The system, the status quo, exists and is paying attention and will not go quietly.
The system protects even its minor deities. It protects them to such an extent that they don’t want people to even understand that most understand a historical record consisting almost entirely of left-wing memes.
The advent of large language models (LLM’s) threatens that power in a very real way.
I have my doubts about whether Artificial Intelligence will ever work, but LLM’s should, in theory, work. LLM’s don’t rely on digital creativity, it’s simply parsing a large amount of information into a coherent stream, it’s an advanced search engine.
Because of the LLM’s ability to process large sets of information, it only seeks to destabilize the current order.
By lowering the opportunity costs to wider sets of information, LLM’s will only be useful at challenging the left-wing lies and memes that constitute our official history.
This is something the tech overlords don’t seem to recognize: technology that gives the end user actual power, especially cultural power, will not further solidify the current regime, it will always only destabilize the current regime.
The motivated partisans seeking to engage in kulturkampf are typically those who are out of power after all.
Power dispossession is the greatest motivator to become more effective, to learn how to effective communicate a political message (aka meme power), how to convey information in the most transgressive and subversive of ways. Repression guides any movement into power, if for no other reason than necessity and survival.
If your political movement does not survive, then by definition it lacked the adaptive power to thrive under pressure.
This is where censorship comes in. Censorship works, but it also breeds resentment among the educated. People don’t want to be told what to think.
So you need to be able to prevent someone from even realizing that what they’re experiencing is censorship. A populace needs to be fooled to such an extent that they think that they know everything, they need to have the arrogance of a glut of information, but to also preclude factually-based politically incorrect conclusions.
I suspect that is why so much is written about Communist theory by Communists: it keeps their people busy on the pasture of far-left theory, never giving them the time to explore other ideas, such as that Communist always fails.
The left in power needs to police LLM’s to ensure that they don’t inadvertently provide information that upends left-wing conclusions.
I believe I can show this in the way that ChatGPT responds to me in a case related to the “Usera Tunnel scam.”
The Usera Tunnel scam was a series of civilian killings carried out by Communist/Republican soldiers in Madrid, Spain in October-November 1937.
The problem that the Communists faced was that rich elites were hiding in Madrid, waiting for their opportunity to escape to the Nationalists. The elites were hiding in buildings that were supposed to be kept neutral under international law, such as embassies and consulates.
The Communists wanted to kill these people but couldn’t reach them, so they needed to find a way to get them out of the protection of these safe spaces.
Members of the 36th Mixed Brigade, likely led by Casimiro Duran, spread a rumor that there was a way to get safely to the Nationalists under Gen. Franco through an underground tunnel. Duran let it be known that some disaffected Communists could be bribed so that they would let civilians flee the Red terror by going through this tunnel.
Again to recap: the Communists/Republicans were fighting the Nationalists/Military under Gen. Francisco Franco from 1936-1939 in the Spanish Civil war.
At least 67 learned the hard way that Communists are killers and not to be trusted. An estimated 20 more body parts were found at the location two years later, so the death toll may be up to 87.
This was a Communist/Republican effort to deceive civilians so that they could be robbed, brutalized, and then murdered.

Then it is contextualizing all of this as a way of remembering the way in which Franco deserves responsibility for the crimes of the era.
This is a deliberate, 180 degree, inversion of the truth.
The atrocities 87 years ago at the Usera Tunnel were committed by Communists, not by the Nationalists.
Wikipedia is a little more accurate, at least by blaming the right parties, but its language is so carefully curated so as to dehumanize the victims and deflect blame for the perpetrators, that it presents its own problems.
Just as they molest and mutilate dead bodies, the activist left in power does the same to the historical record.
Even when an issue is so obvious that there’s no way to spin or invert it, the left would simply prefer to lie lacking other options.
And if you have no God, and only material pursuits, why let a simple thing like bourgeoisie morality stop your ability to consolidate power. If anything is justified to advance the cause of the revolution, what’s another body added to the heap?
If you expect AI and LLM’s to finally tell you the truth, you haven’t been paying attention to who is in power and the lengths that they will go to, in order to advance their Satanic agenda.
